Skoda Kushaq Facelift: New TVC Released
The television commercial of the new Skoda Kushaq has been shared by Skoda India on their official channel. It starts off with a man in a suit coming out of an office building and looking at the new Skoda Kushaq facelift. During this first glance, he instantly goes into the imagination of him standing in a farmland, and the iconic music of “Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jaana Sanam” from “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” starts playing.
This man then drops to his knees but then realizes that he is still in the city. Soon after, a woman is shown sitting inside the Kushaq facelift, and after the newly introduced panoramic sunroof of this SUV opens, she also goes into the same imagination and falls back on the seat, thinking it’s the crop.
Finally, another man who was looking at the new Kushaq facelift at the dealership imagines himself in the same scenario. This man had a balloon in his hand, which was left by him after being in awe by seeing this SUV. After which, the video then shows the main highlights of the new Kushaq, and the last scene shows the standard model and the Monte Carlo variant next to each other.

Skoda has heavily updated the Kushaq, and this time around, it has become more modern and sophisticated in terms of the styling. At the front, the SUV now gets a set of new and sleek-looking LED headlights with DRLs. There is also a new connecting light band in the middle and a brand-new and much larger grille, which is finished in gloss black and gets silver slats. The front bumper is also completely new and looks very sharp with a large silver bezel.
Moving to the side, Skoda has kept the strong shoulder line, and the overall silhouette is also the same. However, this time around, the SUV has been given a set of brand-new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels (higher variants). The lower variants of the Kushaq facelift get 16-inch alloy wheels. Also, what is interesting is that even the base Classic+ variant of this SUV comes equipped with alloy wheels.

Additionally, the rear end of this SUV has also been changed and now looks more aggressive. The main highlights include a set of connected LED taillights with illuminated Skoda lettering, a new rear bumper, and a large silver skid plate. Overall, the new Kushaq looks more modern.
Speaking of updates to the cabin, the Kushaq facelift has also been given a thorough refresh. It now gets a new color scheme and a few new features. Of these, the main highlights include a panoramic sunroof, a bigger 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, also known as the digital cockpit, and a rear seat massage function, which is the first in the segment.

It also continues to get the same 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, powered front seats, and even the base variant of this SUV gets a single-pane electric sunroof.
On the powertrain side of things, the new Kushaq facelift continues to offer the same 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which makes 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. However, it now gets an 8-speed automatic gearbox instead of the 6-speed torque converter. The standard gearbox is still the 6-speed manual unit.

What’s more unique is that Skoda is offering the base variant with the automatic gearbox option, which is the first in the segment. Additionally, the 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine is still on offer, which makes 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. However, it is now only available with the 7-speed DSG gearbox. As for the pricing, the Kushaq facelift starts at Rs 10.69 lakh and goes up to Rs 18.99 lakh, and it is being offered in five variants, namely Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo.
