Donald Trump’s big claim: ‘Iran itself contacted, now there will be no war!’
US President Trump has once again made a big claim regarding Iran. He says that amidst the ongoing tension in the Middle East, Iran itself contacted him and initiated talks for a ceasefire. According to Trump, Tehran now wants to end the conflict and follow the path of agreement. However, this statement came at a time when Iran had already made it clear that it had not approached America for any kind of peace talks.
What did Trump say?
Trump said that there were talks between the two sides in the last two days, which were in a positive direction. He claims that the purpose of this dialogue was to end the long-running enmity and find a permanent solution. Despite Iran’s denial, Trump stuck to his statement and reiterated that the initiative was not taken by America, but by Iran.

He also said that Iran has agreed not to develop nuclear weapons under the agreement. According to Trump, if this agreement is reached then peace can be established in the region and the nuclear threat will also be averted. He stressed that now the situation is becoming such where there will be no need for war.
Trump’s claim
Trump also claimed that Iran contacted America out of fear of possible attacks on its energy infrastructure. According to him, America has such military capability that Iran’s expensive power generation plants can be destroyed in one stroke. Due to this apprehension, Iran came forward for talks.
Possibility of change of power in Iran
Apart from this, Trump also expressed the possibility of regime change in Iran. He says that in the current situation many top leaders there have been killed and a new leadership system may emerge in the future. He indicated that the US would like to work with leadership that is consistent with its interests, especially in matters of oil trade.
