In a separate post, Paramjit Singh Sarna also raised concerns about the image. He wrote, “This portrayal is deeply offensive and a serious violation of Sikh religious principles.”
He added, “In Sikh tradition, tobacco is strictly prohibited, and such imagery misrepresents the identity of the community.”
However, soon after the issue gained attention, several social media users pointed out that the poster was not official. It was later reported that the image had been created using artificial intelligence and was not part of the film.
Reports also stated that the film did not include any such scene or related content.
As of now, actor Ranveer Singh or the makers of the film have not released any official statement regarding the matter.
The situation continued to develop as discussions around the viral image remained active online.
