Inauguration and foundation stone of schemes worth ₹ 250 crore in Jehanabad, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar enumerated the development works.
Chief Minister in Jehanabad district of Bihar Nitish Kumar With the beginning of the fifth phase of ‘Samriddhi Yatra’, various development schemes worth about ₹ 250 crore were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid. In the public meeting organized during this period, the Chief Minister while enumerating the development works done in the state, fiercely targeted the previous governments.
The Chief Minister said in his address that before 2005 the situation in Bihar was very bad. He said that at that time law and order was in a breakdown and people were afraid to leave their homes after evening. The condition of basic facilities like education, health and roads was also very poor. He claimed that after the coming of his government, there has been rapid development in the state and today improvement is being seen in every field.
Nitish Kumar said that his government has taken many important steps to maintain peace and harmony in the state. He told that earlier there were frequent incidents of communal tension, but now the situation is much better. Cemeteries and temples were cordoned off, which reduced disputes and promoted social harmony.
He also mentioned the work done in the fields of health and education. The Chief Minister said that new medical colleges have been opened in the state, the number of beds in hospitals has been increased and reforms have also been made on a large scale in the field of education. The number of teachers in schools was increased and rural areas were connected to cities through roads.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister spoke without taking names. Lalu Prasad Yadav He also targeted and said that during the previous governments there was a situation like ‘Jungle Raj’. He said that women’s safety was a big issue at that time and the administrative system was weak.
Discussing the improvements in the energy sector, the Chief Minister said that today electricity has reached every village in Bihar and free electricity facility is also being provided at many places. He said that now the government is also working on a plan to install solar panels on the roofs of people’s houses, which will increase self-reliance in the energy sector.
On the issue of employment, the Chief Minister said that his government has so far provided employment and job opportunities to about 50 lakh youth. He also reiterated the target of providing 1 crore jobs in the next five years and said that the government is serious about the future of the youth.
Deputy Chief Minister in this program Samrat Choudhary, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary And Ashok Choudhary Were also present. All the leaders reached the venue together and praised the government running under the leadership of the Chief Minister.
Samrat Chaudhary said in his address that ‘development with justice’ is taking place in Bihar under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that the central government and Narendra Modi With the cooperation of the Government, development work has gained momentum in the state and this trend will continue in the future also.
During the program, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the Sewing Training Center built in the old block office premises. Through this centre, efforts will be made to make women self-reliant.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development schemes in Arwal district after Jehanabad. The foundation stone of 22 schemes worth about ₹63 crore was laid and 250 schemes worth ₹90 crore were inaugurated in Arwal.
Strict security arrangements were made before the program. In view of the Chief Minister’s visit, security agencies inspected the entire area and surveillance was kept at every nook and corner.
Overall, the event organized in Jehanabad is being seen as an important political and administrative initiative to further the development agenda of the state government and keeping in mind the upcoming elections.
