‘In the heat of summer, people are forced to stand in queues for gas cylinders’, Arvind Kejriwal expressed concern.
Delhi News: Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has recently expressed concern over the economic and social pressure created in the country in the wake of the crisis arising out of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. He said that lack of adequate preparations in the current situation has adversely affected common citizens and businesses.
Expressed concern over financial situation
Kejriwal said that due to the crisis, a decline is being seen in the country’s stock market, which has affected the financial condition of investors and the general public. He also highlighted the shortage of LPG and the problems related to it. Due to the huge demand for cylinders, long queues have formed, and many small and big businesses have been affected due to this shortage. Along with this, there has also been a crisis in the availability of employment for migrant labourers.
Why was there a delay in preparations in the country?
Pointing to the economic indicators, the AAP convenor said that the rupee has reached a record low, due to which import-export and everyday life is being affected. Kejriwal raised the question that if there was information about the possible crisis at the global level, then why was there a delay in preparations in the country? He also asked whether alternative supplies and other measures could have been ensured in advance, so that common citizens do not face crisis.
People forced to stand in queues for LPG in summer
Drawing attention to the difficulties of the people, Arvind Kejriwal said that in the heat of summer, people are standing in queues for gas cylinders and many businesses are being disrupted. Migrant laborers are facing employment crisis. He stressed that the burden of every crisis should not be put on the public and there is a need to take concrete steps in time.
