India’s young bowler created history, won ICC Player of the Month title for the first time

ICC Women’s POM for Feb 2026 : India women’s team’s emerging fast bowler Arundhati Reddy has created history. He has won the ICC award for the first time. Arundhati has received the title of ICC Women’s Player of the Month for February 2026. This young fast bowler had performed brilliantly on the Australia tour.

Arundhati Reddy was the leading wicket-taker in the three-match T20I series in Australia tour. He took a total of eight wickets at an average of 10.87, and also maintained an economy rate of 7.25. India won this series by 2-1. Arundhati has expressed happiness on winning the title of ICC Women’s Player of the Month.

Arundhati said, “Being named ICC Player of the Month is a really big honor for me, and what makes it even more special is that I was able to contribute to winning the T20I series in Australia. It is never easy to beat Australia at home, and that makes this award even more important to me.”

He further added, “This series win is a huge boost to our team’s confidence as we prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales this summer. We have a very balanced squad, and I am confident that we will be a team to watch in this tournament.”
