In continuation of the campaign being run against the arrest of warrantees in the district by Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma and under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Anil Kumar and under the able leadership of Area Officer Obra Amit Kumar, on Monday, 23.03.2026, 02 absconding warrantees Gulab Sahni, son of late Sahadev, who were absconding for a long time, were arrested by the police station Obra.
Sahni resident of Bhalua Tola, Atal Nagar, Obra district, Sonbhadra, age about 65 years, Chhotu Kharwar, son of Kanhaiya Kharwar, resident of Khairtiya police station, Obra district, Sonbhadra, age about 35 years, on the information of an informer, were arrested from near their house at 5.20 and 7.00 pm respectively and sent to the court. The police team that made the arrest mainly included SP Rajesh Dubey of Obra police station, HE Anil Kumar Gupta was involved.
