President Donald Trump’s big announcement, ‘Will not attack Iran’s energy plants for the next 5 days’

Taking an important decision, US President Donald Trump has postponed the proposed military action on Iran’s energy sites for five days. Earlier he had warned that if the Strait of Hormuz was not opened within 48 hours, America could attack Iran’s energy infrastructure. After this warning, tension and concern had increased significantly at the global level, because the Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important oil routes in the world.

Trump’s new statement

However, just before the deadline, Trump tried to calm the situation to some extent by issuing a new statement. He informed on his social media platform Truth Social that in the last two days, very important and positive talks have taken place between America and Iran. According to Trump, the ongoing talks between the two countries have been serious, detailed and constructive. Keeping this in mind, he has instructed the Defense Department to stop any kind of military action for the time being.

Trump also clarified that this ban is temporary and will depend on the outcome of further talks. If the talks move in a positive direction, further improvement in the situation is possible. After this announcement, the international community has heaved a sigh of relief, because regional stability has been supported for some time due to the aversion of a possible war.

In fact, after America’s strict warning, Iran also retaliated and threatened to target the energy establishments of Gulf countries. In such a situation, the fear had increased that the conflict could spread further.

What did Iran’s Health Ministry say?

Amidst the war-like situation, losses are also continuously increasing. According to Iran’s Health Ministry, more than 1500 people have died so far. At the same time, at least 15 people have lost their lives due to Iranian attacks in Israel. Apart from this, 13 American soldiers and many civilians have also died in the West Bank and Gulf region.

The impact of this tension is also clearly visible on the global economy. There has been a huge rise in the prices of crude oil in the international market. The price of Brent Crude has increased to approximately $113 per barrel, which represents an increase of approximately 55 percent since the beginning of the war.

Overall, this decision of Trump is currently being considered as a step to avoid conflict, but only the outcome of the talks in the coming days will decide whether the situation calms down permanently or the tension increases again.
