LPG Gas Cylinder News Marathi: Due to the Iran war, there has been a shortage of LPG (LPG Gas Cylinder) in the domestic market. On the LPG crisis State-owned oil companies are mulling a broader plan to find a solution. State-owned oil companies are planning to supply only 10 kg of LPG per 14.2 kg cylinder used in households. According to industry officials, domestic stocks have depleted and imports have fallen in the wake of the Iran war.

What is the purpose of this plan?

An official said the move is aimed at saving LPG by maintaining gas supply to as many households as possible. According to the company’s estimates, a standard 14.2 kg LPG cylinder can sustain a typical family for 35-40 days. In such a situation, if a cylinder is filled with 10 kg of gas, it can easily feed a family for about a month. This allows the available gas to be shared more widely during times of crisis.

But officials have warned that the supply situation could worsen next month, limiting options. Availability of LPG is becoming limited.
