Big decisions of Yogi Cabinet: Wheat MSP increased, 37 proposals including flyover-logistics hub approved
Lucknow. 37 important proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Yogi Adityanath. Many big decisions were taken in this meeting, from farmers to infrastructure and industry. The biggest announcement was for farmers, where the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of wheat for the year 2026 has been increased by Rs 160 per quintal. Lakhs of farmers of the state will directly benefit from this.

Gorakhpur will become solar city:
A floating solar plant will be set up on 80 acres of land in Gorakhpur, which will be installed by Coal India Limited. This will help in making the city a solar city.
Mega Projects in Lucknow:
A convention center with a capacity of 10 thousand people will be built in Vrindavan Yojana of Lucknow. Rs 1435.25 crore will be spent on this project, which will also include auditorium and hotel. Apart from this, a 1811 meter long flyover will be built on Dubagga (Lucknow-Hardoi road) at a cost of Rs 305.31 crore, which will provide relief from traffic jam.
Promotion of business and industry:
The Cabinet has approved the Private Business Park Development Plan. Under this, the government will give land to investors, the price of which will be taken in installments over 45 years. This will create new employment opportunities in the state.
Logistics Hub in Greater Noida:
Multimodal Logistics Park will be developed in Budhaki, Greater Noida. For this, tender will be issued in the next three months, which will strengthen the trade and supply chain.

Power Projects in Kanpur:
A three-unit power plant of 660 MW is being built in Ghatampur, Kanpur, of which two units have been commissioned. The third one will start soon. For this, Rs 2242.90 crore has been sanctioned for coal block operation, which will also reduce the cost of power generation.
Navyug Municipality Scheme approved: :
‘Navayug Palika Yojana’ has been approved to make 58 municipalities of the state smart. This scheme with a budget of Rs 145 crore will run for 5 years and will bring major improvement in urban facilities.
Gift of bridges in Devipatan division:
Construction of 18 mini bridges has been approved in Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur and Shravasti districts of Devipatan division. A budget of more than Rs 42 crore has been fixed for this, which will ease the movement of lakhs of villagers.
It is clear from these decisions that the government is focusing on all three areas – farmers, cities and industries simultaneously.
