BMW F450 GS To Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

This year will be the year of twin-cylinder engine motorcycles. We are saying this because there will be a total of 5 new twin-cylinder adventure bikes that will be launched in India. So, without any delay, here are all the details of these highly anticipated adventure motorcycles.

The first motorcycle on this list is the entry-level twin-cylinder ADV, the F 450 GS, from BMW Motorrad. It is being developed with TVS and has been designed to be less intimidating and beginner-friendly. Its main highlight will be the new 420cc parallel-twin engine, which will make 48 bhp. It is an all-new engine and platform.

In terms of key features, it will be offered with an easy clutch system, riding modes, switchable traction control, ABS (non-intrusive even off-road), and upright ergonomics. India could get two versions, namely Standard (road-biased) and Trophy (enduro-focused).

The F 450 GS will be a lightweight ADV that will offer easy manoeuvrability and will be suitable for beginners and light off-roaders. It is expected to launch in India this year, in the coming months. As for the pricing, it is expected to be offered in the price range of Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5.5 lakh.

The Chennai-based bike maker, Royal Enfield, has been teasing Indian enthusiasts for a long time, and finally, this year, it will be launching the Himalayan 750. This model will become the most powerful Himalayan to be sold in India. As per the reports, it will feature a 750cc twin-cylinder engine, which is derived from the 648cc platform, and it is expected to make around 55–60 bhp of power.

The launch of the Himalayan 750 is expected to take place in the second half of this year, in the price range of Rs 4–5 lakh. Its notable highlights will include a new frame and swingarm, monoshock rear suspension, remote preload adjuster, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, cruise control, TFT display, adjustable visor, and a large fuel tank for long touring.

The British motorcycle brand, Nortan Motorcycles, which is owned by TVS, is also planning to launch its mid-capacity adventure motorcycle in India. It will directly rival the Himalayan 750. However, it will be getting a smaller 650cc parallel-twin engine and is expected to make 50 to 55 bhp.

It will be built in India by TVS and will help the company enter the premium bike segment with British brand appeal. Nortan Motorcycles will focus more on refinement and brand value. As for the launch timeline, it is expected to make its debut later this year, in 2026, and the expected price is in the range of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 6.5 lakh.

cfmoto 350 mt adventure bike

The Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, CFMoto, is planning to re-enter India with an affordable twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle. This ADV will boast a 449cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which will make around 40 to 45 bhp and get a 6-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, ride-by-wire, USD forks, rear monoshock, and 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.

Other notable highlights will include a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, multiple riding modes, traction control, LED lighting, and a USB charging port. It will be brought in via the CKD route in India and will target KTM and Royal Enfield buyers. It was expected to make its debut last year. However, its launch was delayed and will most likely take place this year. Pricing is expected to be around Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh.

The Austrian motorcycle brand, Brixton Motorcycles, will also be launching its Storr 500 adventure motorcycle in India this year. It will be a mid-capacity ADV that will come powered by a 486cc parallel-twin engine, making around 47 bhp. The Storr 500 will get KYB USD front forks, a preload-adjustable monoshock, and J. Juan disc brakes, along with dual-channel ABS.

Other notable highlights will include built-in fog lamps, a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charging port, and traction control. The Brixton Storr 500 was scheduled for launch in December 2025. However, it will now be launched this year in the price range of Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5.5 lakh.

aprilia tuareg 457

The last adventure motorcycle on this list is the Aprilia Tuareg 457. This ADV will target performance-focused ADV buyers and use the same 457cc parallel-twin engine. It is expected to make 47 bhp and will be a lightweight, performance-oriented ADV with a rally-inspired design. It is expected to launch later this year or by early 2027 and will likely be priced between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
