Every Year After gets first look photos

Prime Video has released first-look photos from Every Year After, giving audiences a preview of the series’ lakeside aesthetic and central romance. The early photos hint at the show’s visual tone, which aligns with the summer-set nostalgia that made The Summer I Turned Pretty a breakout hit.

The Summer I Turned Pretty ended in 2025 after three seasons, having a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The series became one of Prime Video’s most-streamed shows, ranking number one in over 120 countries during its final season and tripling its viewership from season one.

Now, a feature film, which is the final chapter for The Summer I Turned Pretty, is in development, with series creator Jenny Han writing and directing. No official release date has been announced. This is in accordance with Han, who wants to ensure the final one is perfect and prefers to allow the cast to age into the next phase of their characters’ lives.

Until then, Every Year After’s soon release will satiate The Summer I Turned Pretty’s anticipation.
