Lucknow. Asking back the loan money in Sisendi village under Mohanlalganj police station area of ​​the capital became a problem for a shopkeeper. Instead of repaying the loan, the bullies along with their associates not only beat up the shopkeeper but also entered the shop and created a ruckus. In this violent clash, the shopkeeper’s hand was broken and his elder brother also suffered serious injuries. There is an atmosphere of tension in the area after the incident and the victim’s family has appealed for justice.

According to the details received, Pranshu Vishwakarma, a resident of Sisendi, who runs a grocery shop near the post office on Sisendi-Bhilampur Road, had come to open his shop on Monday morning. It is alleged that as soon as the shop opened, Lalji and Santosh (son of late Hariram), residents of the same village, came there along with some of their unknown associates. As soon as they reached the shop, the accused started abusing Pranshu for demanding money from the old loan. Upon protesting, matters worsened and the attackers, armed with sticks and sticks, attacked the shop.

During this time, Pranshu’s elder brother and family members who came to intervene were also brutally beaten. Pranshu’s hand has been fractured due to the attack by the bullies, while his brother also has serious injury marks on his body. By the time the nearby villagers gathered after hearing the noise, the accused fled from the spot threatening to kill them. The victim says that the accused had borrowed goods from the shop earlier too, but when asked for them, they were constantly hedging and had come to attack in a planned manner on Monday.

The police have adopted a strict stance in this matter. Police station in-charge Brijesh Tripathi said that on the basis of the victim’s complaint, a case has been registered against the named accused under relevant sections. The injured have been sent for medical examination and police teams are conducting raids to arrest the absconding accused. Police say that strict legal action will be ensured against those who take the law into their hands.
