Chief Minister reviews gas and petroleum supply, directs strict action against black marketing

Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma held a detailed review meeting with the concerned officials regarding the supply of gas and petroleum products in the state at the Chief Minister’s residence. Many important instructions were given in the meeting to strengthen the supply system and provide relief to the common people.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure regular and effective monitoring of availability and stock of gas and petroleum products. Also, information should be made available to the general public in a timely and transparent manner, so that no confusion or inconvenience arises.

He said that all concerned departments should work with mutual coordination, so that the supply chain remains uninterrupted. Instructions were also given to identify possible obstacles in advance and ensure their prompt resolution.

The Chief Minister made it clear that any kind of black marketing or irregularities will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the culprits. Along with this, instructions were also given to fix accountability at the local level and implement the system of regular review and reporting.

He said that under the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the State Government is committed to ensure smooth and timely availability of essential services to every citizen.
