Earlier, Torrent Group had purchased 67 percent stake in Gujarat Titans for around Rs 5025 crore, the total value of which was estimated at around Rs 7500 crore. In such a situation, this new deal of Rajasthan Royals has proved to be more than double that.

The deal will be implemented after 2026
According to the report, this big deal will be implemented after the IPL 2026 season. At present the command of the team is with British-Indian businessman Manoj Badale. His company Emerging Media Ventures holds about 65 percent stake. Apart from this, big investors like Redbird Capital Partners and Lachlan Murdoch are also associated with the team.
