Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train has come up with cheaper, attractive packages to travel south

The beauty of India is endless. From the mountains, the sea to the snow-covered Himalayas, what is there in this country! Especially the variously crafted temples. With the hand of the royal palace. Special ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ is being launched on southern tour.

This long trip of 11 nights and 12 days. Passengers will get a chance to visit a bunch of pilgrimage sites and sightseeing spots in South India. This tour will start from 11 April 2026. Will continue till April 22. Although this special train starts from Gorakhpur in North India, there is also a special opportunity for tourists from Bengal. According to railway sources, there will be boarding and alighting facilities for passengers at various stations along the route.

Package cost and benefits

Keeping in mind the ability of the passengers, this tour has been divided into three sections. Each package includes train fare, vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), accommodation and local sightseeing. How much does a package cost?

1. Economy Class (Sleeper): The per capita cost is Tk 24,790. For children (5-11 years) Tk 23,400. It will have non-AC hotel and transportation facilities.
2. Standard Class (Three-Tier AC): Per capita expenditure is Rs.42,530. 40,900 for children. AC hotel accommodation will be available.
3. Comfort Class (Two-Tier AC): Per capita expenditure is Rs.56,710. 54,750 for children. There will be an opportunity to travel in AC hotels and AC cars.

How to book?

Tickets can be booked directly from the official website of IRCTC. Apart from this, ticket booking can be done by contacting the company’s office at Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. EMI and LTC facilities are also included in this package for the convenience of the middle class. Ticket reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
