There was a phone conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump and the current situation was discussed. In particular, the two leaders seriously considered the need to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, as it is a vital route for global oil supplies.

According to the information given by the US Embassy, the situation in West Asia was discussed in the conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Trump. This conversation took place at a time when instability in the region is increasing due to Israel-Iran tension.
