Texas Refinery Explosion: Amid the war in the Middle East, there has been news of a massive explosion at a refinery operated by Valero Energy in Port Arthur, Texas, USA. After the explosion, a massive fire broke out in the refinery. In view of the sudden situation, the authorities have ordered to evacuate the surrounding area and have asked people to go to safe places. The horrific flames are so fierce that they can be seen from several kilometers away. Whereas thick clouds of black smoke are seen rising in the sky. Many people in the area said that they heard a loud bang and felt vibrations in their houses. At present, investigating agencies are investigating the incident. It is being told that the explosion in the refinery occurred at around 7.22 pm on Monday evening local time. Many videos of the incident are being shared on social media. After the explosion, flames and black smoke are visible in the refinery.

The Valero facility is one of the largest oil refineries in the US. According to Valero’s website, it processes crude oil into gasoline, diesel and jet fuel at a rate of 435,000 barrels per day.
