Cold Storage Accident: Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh suspends District Horticulture Officer, administrative and departmental inquiry started
Prayagraj. Minister of State in the Yogi government, Dinesh Pratap Singh, has taken strict action on Tuesday in the Prayagraj Cold Storage incident case of UP. The minister has suspended District Horticulture Officer Saurabh Srivastava with immediate effect. Prima facie, action has been taken after negligence was found. Along with administrative inquiry, departmental inquiry has also been started.

Instructions to take strict action against the accused
In this entire matter, a high level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Joint Director. A detailed report has been sought in 5 days. Also, while taking action in this matter, SP leader Ansar Ahmed has been detained. Not only this, the SP leader’s son and nephew have also been detained by the police. The minister has given instructions to take strict action against the accused. He said in a strict tone that no matter who the culprit is, he will not be spared.
Police engaged in investigation
Let us tell you that after the accident at Adarsh Cold Storage, the police has registered a case against 7 named and 5 unidentified persons. Police is busy searching for all the accused. At present, the police have detained SP leader Ansar Ahmed, son Manzoor and nephew Alauddin. All three are being interrogated in the case.

Let us tell you that on Monday afternoon, a major accident took place when a cold storage building located in Chandapur area of Phaphamau police station area of Prayagraj district collapsed. So far 4 people have died in this accident, while 12 injured are undergoing treatment at SRN Medical. CM Yogi has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured.
