Who is Mohammad Bakar Ghalibaf?
Mohammad Bakar Ghalibaf is a big name in the political and military structure of Iran. He has been a former officer of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Has been the speaker of the Parliament of Iran (Majlis) since 2020 and was re-elected in 2024. Born in 1961, Ghalibaf joined the IRGC in 1980 and rose to prominence during the Iran-Iraq war.
