New Delhi, 24 March. Congress Parliamentary Party chief and Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi’s health suddenly deteriorated once again on Tuesday. According to sources, Sonia has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the national capital due to difficulty in breathing and chronic bronchial asthma.

As soon as the information about mother’s health deteriorating was received, her son Rahul Gandhi along with daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra immediately left for the hospital and are currently present with her. The team of doctors is busy monitoring Sonia Gandhi’s health. His condition is currently said to be stable.

My health had deteriorated in January also

Concerns about Sonia Gandhi’s health have also increased because she has been facing continuous health problems for some time. Three months ago in January also, his condition had become critical, due to which he had to be admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital for six consecutive days and underwent treatment. However, even after being discharged from the hospital, she had not fully recovered and a special team of doctors was continuously monitoring and treating her health at her residence.

His health had deteriorated due to increasing pollution and severe cold.

The main reason for his health deteriorating last January was severe difficulty in breathing. When he was taken to the hospital at around 10 pm on January 5, 2026, the doctors in their examination found that the increasing pollution and severe cold of Delhi had adversely affected his health.

On June 19, 2025, Sonia had some serious stomach problems.

Earlier on June 19 last year, Sonia Gandhi had some serious stomach problem, after which she was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for treatment and then discharged within a few days. He was admitted on June 15 after complaining of stomach infection. His condition was continuously monitored for about four days.
