Toyota SUV: Toyota has launched its new off-road SUV Toyota Land Cruiser FJ in Thailand. This SUV remains a topic of discussion in the global market due to its strong design, excellent off-roading capability and advanced features. The special thing is that the company is manufacturing this model in Thailand itself, which helps in keeping its price competitive.
Design
Toyota has given a completely rough-and-tough look to the Land Cruiser FJ, which makes it a perfect off-road SUV. It has large 18-inch alloy wheels, LED projector headlights, strong body cladding and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Its boxy and muscular design gives it a distinct identity on the road.
Interior and Safety
- This SUV is quite premium and equipped with technology. It has a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Apart from this, features like Type-C charging port, dual-zone automatic AC, auto-dimming IRVM and PM 2.5 air filter are also provided, which make the cabin comfortable and safe.
- In terms of safety, Land Cruiser FJ includes advanced features like 7 airbags, cruise control, panoramic view monitor, traction control, hill assist, parking sensor, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and ADAS. All these features make driving safe and easy.
Price and performance
- It has a 2.7-litre petrol engine, which generates 166 PS power and 245 Nm torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission is available with it. To improve off-roading, features like 4WD system and differential lock have also been provided in it.
- The price of Toyota Land Cruiser FJ in Thailand has been kept at 12.69 lakh Thai Baht (about Rs 36 lakh). There is currently no official announcement regarding its launch in India, but it is expected that the company can launch it in the Indian market by the end of 2026.
