Ingredients for making betel syrup
Betel leaves 6-7 pieces, fennel 2 tbsp, coconut shavings 2 tbsp, cardamom powder more than tsp, ice cubes 3-4, rose petals 2 tbsp, gulkand 2 tbsp, green food colour, sugar powder half cup, betel leaf paste 4 tbsp, sugar powder, milk, fresh cream, pistachios finely chopped, saffron, dry rose petals.
Method of making paan sherbet
Take some betel leaves, wash them and wipe them with a cloth. Remove the stem part and chop the leaves finely.
Take a mixer jar, add betel leaves, fennel seeds, dry coconut and some ice cubes and grind them.
Then add rose petals, gulkand, ice cubes, green color and powdered sugar and grind again.
After this, take out this paste in a bowl. This paan paste can be stored in the freezer for long term use.
To serve, add paan paste, some powdered sugar, milk and fresh cream in a serving glass and mix well.
Garnish it with chopped pistachios, saffron and dry rose petals.
