Will ‘drown America into the Gulf’; These conditions were kept to stop Iran and war
Tehran: A fierce war is going on between Iran and America-Israel in West Asia. Now Iran has given a strict warning to US President Donald Trump. Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has said that America has very little time left to extricate itself from this “quagmire”. He said that if America attacks Iran’s infrastructure, the retaliation will not be on the lines of “an eye for an eye” but on the lines of “a head for an eye.” Rezaei’s warning comes a day after Trump announced that the US would halt its energy strikes and attacks on Iran’s power plants for the next 5 days.
America doesn’t have much time left
Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei’s military adviser warned that the US did not have much time left to “save itself from its quagmire”. He said, “If you attack our infrastructure, it won’t be an eye for an eye, it will be a head for an eye; you will be maimed.” Iran’s top leader further warned Washington that Tehran would “paralyze you and drown you in the Gulf.”
Trump is trying to divert attention
He also took a dig at Trump’s decision in which America has announced to stop attacks on Iran’s energy plants for the next 5 days. Razai termed this as Trump’s “psychological warfare” and said that such contradictory actions will not divert Iran’s attention from the war front.
Demand for compensation from America
In his statement to IRNA, Rezaei also demanded compensation from the United States for damages caused amid the ongoing conflict. He said, “The war will continue until full compensation for losses is received, all economic sanctions are lifted, and guarantees from the United States about non-interference in Iranian affairs. This is the decision of our country, our leaders, and our armed forces.”
Iran placed three big conditions
Full compensation should be given for the war losses.
All economic sanctions imposed on Iran should be removed immediately.
There should be a guarantee of non-interference in the internal affairs of Iran in the future.
Neighboring countries trying to become peace ambassadors
Amidst the ongoing tension in the Middle East, Pakistan has offered to play the role of a peace envoy. Pak PM Shahbaz Sharif has invited America and Iran for talks in Islamabad on social media. Earlier yesterday, Donald Trump had claimed that he had had “positive conversations” with the Iranian leadership, but Tehran rejected this outright. Iran described Trump’s claims as “fake news”, saying it was merely a ploy to influence the market.
