Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi is being ‘inhumanely treated’ in jail. The PTI leader made such a complaint. His son Kashim Khan spoke to Imran in jail on the occasion of Eid. At that time, Imran made such a complaint in anger. This is the first time he has spoken publicly after the rumor that he might lose his eyesight.
What exactly did Imran complain about? According to his son, he said from jail, “The judges of this country should be ashamed of themselves. They have sold their souls for personal gain. They have sold their self-respect.” After that, Imran further complained, “They know they cannot break me. So now they are attacking my wife. Can Bushra Bibi be treated inhumanely to blackmail me?”
Imran reports that Bushra Bibi has been thrown into a prison in complete isolation. He is allowed only 30 minutes a week to see his wife. Sometimes even that is not allowed.
Imran further alleged, “They know they cannot break me. So now they are attacking my wife. Can Bushra Bibi be treated inhumanely to blackmail me?”
It should be noted that the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has been imprisoned since 2023. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison in the 190 million euro corruption case. Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi has been sentenced to 7 years imprisonment in this same corruption case. In addition, in 2023, Imran is being prosecuted under the Anti-Terrorism Act due to widespread insurgency across Pakistan.
Last month, Imran’s health news sparked international concern. It is heard that he is losing vision in his right eye. A total of 14 former international captains including Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Clive Lloyd, Allen Border, Steve Waugh, Ian Chappell wrote letters expressing concern about his physical condition.
