RCB Owner: The Indian Premier League is going to start from 28 March 2026. The opening match of the league is to be played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Even before the start of the league, the news of change of owner of RCB has come to light. In a deal with United Spirits Limited (USL), a consortium of 4 big groups has bought 100 percent stake in its franchise.

Deal made for Rs 16700 crore

India’s leading business house Birla Group led the deal with USL. Along with this, American private equity sector company Blackstone, American sports investor David Blitzer and India’s Times Group have bought stakes. This deal has proved that RCB has now become a global brand. This deal has been done for about 1.78 billion dollars i.e. Rs 16700 crore. The deal has been sealed for the teams of both men and women players.

RCB won the title after 18 years

IPL 2025 title remained in the name of RCB. The team won the league trophy after 18 years. Rajat Patidar had a spectacular victory under Captain. The explosive batsman Virat Kohli had scored the maximum of 657 runs. Whereas RCB women’s team has won the title twice.
