After this, on March 14, he was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi, where the entire process was started under the supervision of doctors.

AIIMS Hospital issued a statement saying that Harish Rana died on March 24, 2026 at 4:10 pm. The hospital said that the entire procedure was done as per the prescribed medical rules and he was given complete care till the last moment.
