America’s diplomatic efforts failed, Tehran refused on 15-point proposal

Washington/Tehran/Dubai. The ongoing tension between America and Iran has once again reached a dangerous point, while on one hand diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire are intensifying, while on the other hand attacks between the two sides are also continuing. America has sent a 15-point proposal to Iran with the aim of ending the ongoing conflict in West Asia, but Tehran has clearly refused any kind of negotiation.

According to US officials, this proposal was sent through the mediators of Pakistan, which is considered to be the most important initiative after the recent conflict. However, Iran has rejected these claims and said that no talks are taking place with Washington and such news is being spread to influence the global markets.

Meanwhile, the situation worsened when America and Israel carried out joint attacks on Iran under ‘Operation Epic Fury’. In response, Iran intensified missile and drone attacks on many Israeli cities. It also targeted American bases in the region and effectively banned the movement of ships connected to the Strait of Hormuz, deepening the crisis over global oil supplies.

Amidst the tension, a new diplomatic aspect has also emerged. According to sources, Iran has indicated that it does not want to hold talks with some prominent US figures and is instead preferring Vice President JD Vance as the negotiator. Tehran believes that Vance’s stance is relatively moderate and anti-war, which may open the possibility of a solution.

However, US President Donald Trump has claimed that talks between the two countries are ongoing and agreement has been reached on many points, including Iran’s commitment not to acquire nuclear weapons. The White House has clarified that only the President will take the final decision on who will participate in the talks.

Here the ground situation is continuously worsening. Iran has launched missile attacks on several targets in the region, including Israel, while Israel has also retaliated against Iranian military and production sites. Attacks from Lebanon have also resulted in loss of life and property in Israel.

The impact of this conflict is also being seen at the global level. Due to the almost closure of the Strait of Hormuz, oil prices are rising rapidly and there is increased volatility in international markets. Many countries, including France, have appealed to both sides to exercise restraint and find a solution through dialogue, but at present the situation remains extremely tense and the path to a solution seems uncertain.
