Game changer project on Mumbai-Bangalore highway!! Traffic jams will disappear forever
Pune Infrastructure Project | Traffic congestion on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway passing through Pimpri-Chinchwad has been a major problem for many years. To solve this problem permanently, the Center and the Government of Maharashtra have proposed to undertake a major infrastructure project. Under this, it is planned to build a six-tier elevated corridor (elevated corridor) of about 15.87 km length from Dehu Road to Sutarwadi and further to Navale Bridge.
MLA Shankar Jagtap informed that this project will bring great relief to the passengers of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Hinjewadi IT Park and nearby areas.
This issue was raised in the budget session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. A question was raised regarding the increasing traffic congestion near Navale Bridge. On this occasion, MLA Shankar Jagtap asked for detailed information about this elevated road connecting Dehu Road, Sutarwadi and Navale Bridge. While replying to it, Minister of State Yogesh Kadam presented detailed information about the project in the hall. Pune Infrastructure Project
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is taking various measures to improve connectivity between Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Under this project, priority will be given to works like land acquisition, widening of service roads and asphalting.
This elevated road (Pune Infrastructure Project) will be developed on the lines of the eight-level elevated road constructed between Nashik Phata and Khed. After the completion of the project, it is expected that the traffic congestion on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway will reduce to a great extent.
Due to the growing IT companies and residential projects in the Hinjewadi IT Park area, the traffic congestion is increasing day by day. After the opening of this new elevated route, the journey of passengers from Wakad, Tathawade, Punawale, Rawet as well as Balewadi, Baner, Sus and Bawdhan will become faster and more convenient. Also, the citizens of Man, Marunji, Nere, Jambe, Kasarasai and Kiwale will benefit greatly from this project.
