Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverakonda’s romantic honeymoon ad goes viral; fans ask, ‘why encash private moments?’
Pan India’s one of the most loved celebrity weddings, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, will be celebrating their one-month wedding anniversary on March 26, 2026. The couple tied the knot on February 26, 2026, at a pristine palace in Udaipur. Their grand wedding was a blend of culture and tradition, celebrated with the blessings of close family and friends.
Fans were also actively engaged through the hashtag #Virosh, which combines Rashmika and Vijay’s names. Coined by fans, the hashtag became a fun way for the couple to connect with their audience.
Over the past month, Rashmika and Vijay have shared glimpses of their wedding festivities on Instagram. Recently, they gave fans a sneak peek into their fun-filled honeymoon. The couple travelled to Thailand for their honeymoon and, surprisingly, also shot an ad for Airbnb during the trip.
Last week, a cosy and love-filled photo of the couple hugging went viral on social media. On Wednesday, they posted the full ad in collaboration with Airbnb, which was filmed during their honeymoon in Koh Samui, Thailand.
In the video, Rashmika lovingly says, “You are my husband, still getting used to saying that.” Vijay replies, “My best friend, that part has never changed.”
Rashmika added, “After the wedding celebration, we wanted to slow down for a couple of days—quiet mornings, swims in the afternoons, and evenings of table tennis, pool, and movie nights with laughter that lasted much longer. This Airbnb in Koh Samui felt like home almost instantly. Some moments from those days, with friends and a home filled with laughter…”
When Vijay asks where they see themselves a few years from now, Rashmika answers without hesitation: “Travelling more, finding places like this.”
The video captures the couple enjoying their time together. Rashmika wore a satin gown and flaunted her mangalsutra, styled like a choker, while Vijay kept it casual in a white shirt and black pants.
The couple promoted buddymood, which is a concept where newlyweds can relax with friends while staying in an Airbnb.
The caption read, “After the wedding celebration, we wanted to slow down for a couple of days. Quiet mornings, swims in the afternoons, and evenings of table tennis, pool, and movie nights with laughter that lasted much longer. This @Airbnb in Koh Samui felt like home almost instantly. Some moments from those days… with friends and a home filled with laughter.”
Speaking about the experience, Rashmika said, “For us, travel has always been about making new memories with friends and family. Staying in an Airbnb makes it really easy we could all be together in one space, hang out, play games, swim, watch the sunset, enjoy good food, and experience the local culture in a more real, unfiltered way. It felt less like visiting and more like living in the place.”
Where did they stay?
The couple stayed at Koh Koon, a villa tucked into the Chaweng Noi hillside. Built for group stays, the villa features multiple bedrooms and open common areas. Its spacious dining area allows people to gather, eat, and spend time together. Soft lighting, sofas, a pool, and seaside views make it perfect for relaxing, watching sunsets, or having a candlelight dinner with friends.
Here’s a breakdown of the villa cost
The villa reportedly costs around Rs 7.8 lakh for three nights, roughly Rs 2.5 lakh per night. The stay includes meals, housekeeping, a villa manager, and airport transfers.
Netizens had mixed reactions to Rashmika and Vijay encashing theri honeymoon. Many showered love, but most of them slammed them, saying that they could not have promoted this and kept it personal.
