Next to the war-torn Iran, Kashmir, thanks to India, the embassy deleted the post! Why?
India sent humanitarian aid to war-torn Iran. In the crisis situation, Jammu and Kashmir stood by Tehran and marched. According to sources, residents of Bodgam in the valley have also helped with gold, silver and cash. The Iranian embassy thanked New Delhi for the donation and sympathy extended by the Kashmiris. But suddenly they deleted that post. Since then various speculations have been made.
But why did the embassy delete the post? It is learned that some Pakistani citizens were intentionally spreading hate and creating confusion in the comments of the posts. They repeatedly say that Kashmir is not a part of India. They even called Iran to come to that position. Since Kashmir is a sensitive issue, the posts have been deleted, sources said.
Incidentally, the Iranian Embassy of India expressed its gratitude for the assistance of the people of Kashmir. A post on their X handle said, ‘With extremely grateful hearts, we are overwhelmed by the humanitarian support and heartfelt love of the people of Kashmir. Thank you sincerely for standing by the people of Iran. This kindness will never be forgotten.’ Not only that, multiple pictures and videos are posted by them. But all the posts were deleted by the embassy.
It may be noted that India and Iran have deep cultural, economic and diplomatic ties, which have been further strengthened by bilateral cooperation in trade, energy and regional development. But Kashmir is a touchy subject again and again. After the abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status in 2019, Iran’s then Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei expressed concern over the plight of Muslims living in the valley. Again, it was this Kashmir that took to the streets to protest the killing of Khamenei. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti even protested by burning effigies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump in Srinagar.
