The Miss World Vietnam organization announced on Wednesday night that more than 130 contestants are expected to take part in this year’s Miss World competition.

“In the coming time, the world will gather in Vietnam for a special celebration,” the organization said in a statement.

Julia Morley, chairwoman of the Miss World organization, is set to attend the grand finale of Miss World Vietnam 2025 on March 29 in Ho Chi Minh City, where she is expected to reveal further details about the event.

It was announced in August 2025 that Vietnam will be represented by Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc at this year’s Miss World competition.

The 25-year-old beauty queen from Can Tho in the Mekong Delta stands 1.86 meters tall. She was named first runner-up at Miss World Vietnam 2022 before winning Miss Intercontinental 2022.

Miss World, founded in the U.K. in 1951, is widely regarded as one of the two most prestigious international beauty pageants, alongside Miss Universe.

The competition promotes global unity by recognizing contestants who embody beauty, intelligence and a commitment to community service.

In recent years, it has emphasized its “Beauty with a Purpose” message, with winners often gaining strong public support worldwide.
