Due to mutual dispute, the couple jumped from the three-storey roof, the husband died on the spot
Saran. Last night, a domestic dispute took a horrifying form in Sadhanapuri area of Nagar police station area. Fed up with mutual disputes, a husband and wife living in a rented house jumped from the roof of a three-storey building.
In this suicide move, the husband died on the spot, while the wife is seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Pintu Singh, resident of Patedha village of Khaira police station area. At the same time, his injured wife Priya Singh, who is a resident of Bheldi police station area, is currently undergoing treatment in Sadar Hospital.
The said couple lived on rent in a house located in Sadhnapuri. It is being told that there used to be frequent disputes between the two. Last night too, the argument over some issue escalated so much that both of them jumped down from the roof in a fit of rage. As soon as information about the incident was received, the city police station immediately reached the spot.
Policemen pulled out the husband and wife trapped in the bushes behind the house and took them to Sadar Hospital. Doctors declared Pintu Singh dead in the hospital. At the same time, Priya Singh’s condition remains critical.
The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. When asked in this regard, city police station chief Sanjeev Kumar said that prima facie the matter appears to be a mutual dispute and domestic dispute.
The police is investigating the case closely from every aspect so that the true reasons for the incident can be revealed. The body has been sent for post-mortem after taking necessary action. The police is also interrogating the nearby people and the landlord so that the main reason for the dispute can be found out.
