Funny story of Salman Khan: Driver-cook taught hit dance step

New Delhi.Dabangg, released in 2010, created a stir at the box office and gave Salman Khan a new identity as ‘Chulbul Pandey’. While the strong story and action contributed to the success of the film, its superhit item song Munni Badnaam Hui also captured the hearts of people. This song, filmed on Malaika Arora, created a stir in every party, wedding and function at that time. But very few people know that Salman Khan’s entry in this song was not planned in advance.

Makers’ plan changed, Salman made his own entry

Actually, the makers of the film wanted to shoot this song only as a solo dance of Malaika Arora. He believed that Malaika’s performance alone would be enough to make the song a hit. But when Salman Khan heard this song, he liked it so much that he himself expressed his desire to participate in it. This decision of Salman changed the entire energy of the song and later this song became the biggest highlight of the film.

Iconic dance step made at Panvel Farmhouse

Salman’s presence in the song was confirmed, but the biggest question was what the dance steps would be like. The answer was found in a funny way. Salman was with the team at his Panvel farmhouse, where the song was played during the bonfire. At the same time, his driver and cook did some funny dance steps, seeing which Salman Khan was quite impressed. He found these steps so natural and entertaining that he finalized these moves. This step later became his signature dance, which fans are seen copying even today.
