CFMoto 550CL-C Cruiser Bike : CFMoto looks set to extend its cruiser line-up with a new, more capable model based on the existing 450CL-C. Images and details of the bike, believed to be the upcoming 550CL-C, have emerged via a Chinese type-approval filing. Although the brand is not currently present in the Indian market, it gives a glimpse of CFMoto’s upcoming products globally. The 550CL-C could be a successor to or replace the existing 450CL-C, with a larger engine and updated styling.

parallel-twin engine
According to sources, the bike has a 526 cc parallel-twin engine, which is based on the 450CL-C engine but its capacity has been increased. It is being told that its power output is about 53 horsepower, which is 12 horsepower more than 450CL-C, and its maximum speed is 165 km per hour.
aluminum swingarm
The interior of the 550CL-C retains almost the same layout, but there are some significant changes. According to sources, a longer aluminum swingarm has been installed in it, which has increased the length of the wheelbase and marginally increased the weight.
Updated fuel tank
Visually the changes are more obvious. The 550CL-C sees a redesigned headlight, an updated fuel tank with knee grooves, a new seat and a shorter tail section.
