The biggest issue in the meeting was – is there going to be a shortage of petrol and diesel in the country? On this the government clearly said that there is nothing like that. The supply of petroleum products in the country is completely normal and there is no shortage anywhere. That means there is no need for the general public to take tension.
News of relief coming from Hormuz Strait
The government said that four Indian ships have passed safely from the Strait of Hormuz and many more are going to leave soon. The special thing is that while ships of many countries are still stranded, India has kept its supply line safe to a great extent. In local language, “Apna Jugaad Fit Bait Baitha Hai”.
What did you say on the role of Pakistan?
The issue of Pakistan’s mediation also came up in the meeting. On this the government said that this is not a new thing, but Pakistan has been involved in such talks since 1981. That means there is nothing new or shocking in it. The government made it clear that India takes its own decisions and does not come under anyone’s pressure.
