Preparation of film on Operation Sindoor, Vivek Agnihotri confirmed

New Delhi. Now a film is going to be made on Operation Sindoor, launched by the Indian Armed Forces after the terrorist attack in Baisaran Valley of Kashmir on 22 April 2025. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has confirmed that he will make a film based on this operation, which will bring patriotism and military strategy to life on the big screen.

Story and premise

Vivek Agnihotri told that this film will be based on Lieutenant General KJS ‘Tiny’ Dhillon’s book ‘Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India’s Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan’. Vivek says, “I have always believed in telling stories that are uncomfortable, but necessary. My endeavor is that this story of courage, professionalism and strategic clarity reaches the audience with authenticity and cinematic experience.”

He further said that ground research has been done in collaboration with various branches of the armed forces, so that not only the details of the incidents but also the complex circumstances and decision process behind them can be explained.

Film producer and production

According to reports, this project will be produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar. Bhushan Kumar said, “Some stories are not chosen, they choose you. Operation Sindoor is one such story. When the country goes through such big events, it becomes necessary to record it truthfully.”

In the film, the detailed information and sequence of events of Operation Sindoor, which took place between 6 to 10 May 2025, will be shown on the big screen.
