01 accused wanted in murder case arrested by Bijpur Police, murder weapon used in the incident recovered

In the course of the campaign being run to prevent crime and criminals in the district under the direction of Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anil Kumar and Area Officer Duddhi Rajesh Kumar Rai and under the leadership of Police Station Head Bijpur Rajesh Kumar Singh, Bijpur Police has achieved significant success.
On 25.03.2026, Deputy Inspector Shravan Kumar Yadav along with the police team was present in the area for checking suspicious persons and searching for wanted accused. Meanwhile, on the information of special informer, wanted accused Kanhaiya son of Kewal Ram (age 35 years), resident of village Kusmaha, police station Mayorpur, hall address village Sirsoti, related to section 105 BNS, near the road leading to river Baran, located in village Sirsoti, under FIR No. 32/2026, Section 105 BNS, was arrested at around 19:20 hours. The crowbar used in the incident was recovered from the possession of the accused. Necessary legal action has been taken against the arrested accused and he has been sent to the court.
The arresting team mainly included Inspector-in-charge Bijpur Rajesh Kumar Singh, Inspector Shravan Kumar Yadav, Inspector Bhanu Pratap Singh Yadav, Inspector Krishna Kumar Gupta. Effective action against criminals is continuing by the district police.
