Major accident in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, 9 killed in collision between bus and pickup; many injured
Chhindwara Bus Accident: A bus full of passengers met with an accident in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday evening. So far, information about the death of 9 people is coming to light in this incident. Many people are said to be seriously injured. According to initial information, this incident is said to have taken place near Simaria temple between Umranala and Simaria. The accident happened at around 6.30 pm. There were a total of more than 40 passengers in the bus at the time of the incident. Who were going from Chhindwara towards Umranala.
The bus that was the victim of the incident was returning from a village in Mohkhed block after attending a government program. Meanwhile, there was a direct collision with a pickup laden with garlic coming from the front. This program was organized in Saunsar area of the district. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was the chief guest.
Women and children also included among the dead
The dead also include men, women and a child. All the people traveling in the bus are said to be residents of Karer Panchayat. Local people were the first to reach the spot. They started relief and rescue operations, after which emergency services arrived. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital of Chhindwara for treatment. The condition of many of them is said to be critical.
Collector-SP present at the spot
According to the information, the accident was so severe that the pickup vehicle was completely damaged after being hit by the bus. According to eyewitnesses, two people traveling in the pickup died on the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, Collector and SP reached the spot.

Statement of SP Ajay Pandey
SP Ajay Pandey said that all the injured will be given better treatment. District Hospital Has been sent. Heavy police force and administrative officials are deployed at the spot. The help of cranes and local people has been taken to rescue the injured. An emergency alert has also been issued in the district hospital so that the injured can get immediate treatment.
