16 year old boy brutally murdered by stabbing in Dayalpur, Delhi, three accused arrested; all minors
A case of murder of a teenager has come to light from Dayalpur, Delhi. According to information received from the police, a 16-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by three minors in Dayalpur area of North-East Delhi. This incident created panic all around the area. According to the police, “On reaching the spot at Lane No. 13, Nehru Vihar, an injured boy aged about 16 years was found lying unconscious. He was immediately taken to JPC Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Subsequently, the body of the deceased was sent to GTB Hospital for post-mortem.”
The weapon used in the crime recovered
Three CCLs (CCLs- Children in Conflict with Law) have been arrested in the case. The age of all three is said to be between 13 and 17 years. At the behest of the arrested minors, a knife used in the crime has also been recovered. During interrogation, the captured CCLs stated that the deceased was bullying one of them. A case has been registered at Dayalpur police station and further investigation has been started. During the investigation, the forensic team inspected the crime scene and collected evidence.
A criminal wanted in murder and robbery cases arrested
Meanwhile, in a separate incident on Tuesday, Special Staff of Central District of Delhi Police arrested a criminal wanted in murder and robbery cases, following an encounter in IP Estate area. There was firing from both sides in the encounter. During this, a criminal named Ajay Kalia was shot in the leg, after which he was arrested. This absconding accused was involved in many criminal incidents. However, an Inspector of the Special Staff had a narrow escape in this encounter, as a bullet also hit his bulletproof jacket.
