Four glorious years, Bhagwant Mann De Naal: AAP took the achievements of Bhagwant Mann government to every household of Punjab.

On the occasion of completion of four years of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the party on Wednesday "Wonderful 4 years, God bless you!" Started a big statewide public relations campaign named Naam, through which the government is taking the record of its work directly to the people by going to villages and urban wards.

Under this campaign, ministers, MLAs and local in-charges reached about 1,000 villages and wards in a single day and interacted with the people and told about the major achievements of the Punjab government. The campaign witnessed tremendous public participation and people expressed satisfaction over the governance and delivery of welfare schemes under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

While talking to the people in Sham Chaurasi, Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said, "Today the government schools of Punjab are being discussed in the entire country. Even in the survey conducted by the Government of India, it is believed that the schools of Punjab have become number one. The result of transparent recruitment of more than 28,000 teachers and training them in Finland and Singapore is that students of Punjab are now becoming successful in competitive examinations like JEE and NEET."

Highlighting the power sector reforms in Ludhiana West, Power Minister Sanjiv Arora said, "Mann government has created history by reducing electricity bills of 90 percent houses of Punjab to zero. Earlier people were afraid of huge bills, but today they are getting great relief along with 24 hours uninterrupted power supply."

Speaking at BHOA, Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak underlined the anti-drug campaign of the Punjab government and said, "The Bhagwant Mann government has launched a decisive war against drugs, under which more than 92,000 smugglers have been sent behind bars. Along with this, 65,000 government jobs have been given completely on the basis of merit, that too without any bribe or recommendation."

Highlighting the changes in the health sector, Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO in Jandiala said, "985 Aam Aadmi Clinics are working successfully in Punjab, where more than 5 crore people have received free treatment. Now every family is getting free cashless treatment up to Rs 10 lakh, due to which the poor no longer need to take loan for treatment."

Addressing the people in Malout, Cabinet Minister Dr Baljeet Kaur, talking about women-centric initiatives, said, under ‘Mata Di Satkar Yojana’, every woman will get Rs 1,000 per month and women from Scheduled Caste category will get Rs 1,500 per month from Baisakhi. Along with this, the facility of free travel in buses has empowered women."

What did Minister Mohinder Bhagat say?

Emphasizing on agricultural assistance, Minister Mohinder Bhagat in Jalandhar West said, "Only Maan government is a true well-wisher of the farmers. Today farmers are getting free electricity during the day and after decades the canal water has reached the end of the fields. Crop payments are now being sent directly to the bank accounts of farmers within just 24 hours."

Speaking at Lehragaga, Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal highlighted the welfare and infrastructure initiatives and said, "The government is providing free pilgrimage facility for senior citizens. Apart from this, an ex-gratia amount of Rs 1 crore is being given to the families of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country, which is the highest in the country. With the formation of ‘Road Safety Force’, deaths in road accidents have reduced by 50 percent."

he adds, "In the last four years, work has been done which could not be done since independence. The dream of reviving ‘Rangla Punjab’ is coming true with the construction of 40,000 kilometers of roads, 9,000 sports grounds and 6,000 gyms."

During this public relations campaign, party leaders reiterated that the focus of the AAP government is not limited to just policy announcements, but their priority is to take the benefits of governance to every household of Punjab and ensure last mile delivery.
