Delhi HC strict on objectionable posts against Gautam Gambhir, orders Google and Meta to delete them

High Court bluntly: Links should be removed within 48 hours

While hearing the petition of Gautam Gambhir, the bench of Justice Mini Pushkarna has issued an interim order.

Court order: The court said that such material on the internet, which is posted for the purpose of defaming a person’s character, cannot be considered as freedom of expression.

Time Limit: Social media companies have been directed to remove the URLs and posts identified by Gambhir in the next within 48 hours Delete or block.
