Signature of the current President will be printed on the dollar for the first time, American notes with Trump’s signature will be released soon

This is going to be the first time that the signature of a sitting President will appear on the US dollar. The US Treasury Department has confirmed that Donald Trump’s signature will soon be included on dollar notes. The special thing is that till now in American history, the signature of any sitting President has not been printed on the currency during his tenure. Therefore this decision is being considered historic.

Special occasion related to 250th anniversary

US Treasurer Brandon Beach has linked this decision to the celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary. According to him, the new notes will be signed by both President Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Besant. He described it as a symbol of the President’s leadership and his commitment to the country.

Treasury Secretary Besant also described this decision as special and said that America is currently moving in the direction of economic strength. According to him, this move not only reflects the country’s achievements but also shows the strength and stability of the dollar. He said that it is an honor to release notes bearing Trump’s signature on this historic occasion.

When will the new printing start?

According to the Treasury Department, first of all new notes of 100 dollars will be printed, which will have the signatures of Trump and Besant. Their printing is likely to start from June. After this, gradually notes of other denominations will also be introduced in the market. Currently, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing is printing the old notes, which bear the signatures of former Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Treasurer Lynn Malerba.

It has been made clear that there will be no change in the design of the new notes. Only signatures will be updated. That means the design and other features of the note will remain the same as before.

Rules regarding picture on coins

It is also worth noting that printing the photo of any living person on coins is not allowed in America. This is the reason why the first attempt to release a $1 coin with Trump’s photo was not successful.
