Actually, Nita Ambani wore this special saree when she was awarded an honorary doctorate degree at KIIT Odisha. Later, on the occasion of Ram Navami, his picture was shared on NMACC’s Instagram page, which gained a lot of attention on social media.

The most special thing about this saree is that ‘Ram’ is written on it in different Indian languages. Along with this, motifs inspired by ‘Ramshila’ have been made all over the saree, which makes it even more spiritual and unique. The pallu of the saree is also very special, in which sacred mantras are intricately woven. Its color is kept in earthy tones inspired by soil and rocks, which makes it more traditional and graceful.
This saree is dedicated to the traditional Ikat art of Odisha and has been created by renowned artisan Harishankar Mehar of Sambalpur. It took two years to complete this saree made using ‘Swadesh Bandha’ technique, which shows its craftsmanship and hard work.

If we talk about Nita Ambani’s look, she carried it with utmost simplicity and elegance. She applied bindi on her forehead with subtle makeup, light pink lipstick and simple eye makeup. In jewellery, instead of heavy jewellery, she wore a double layer rosary of pearls that looked like Rudraksha and diamond earrings. The hair was tied in a bun and decorated with a gajra, which was making her entire look classic and timeless.
