Trump’s ‘space war’ Stake! Now American military base will be built on the moon, war between China begins
US Space Force Moon Plans: The competition between the world’s two superpowers, America and China, has now crossed the boundaries of the earth and reached space. NASA, under the leadership of President Donald Trump, has made a historic and strategic announcement by unveiling a plan to build a permanent military base on the surface of the moon.
America is preparing to spend about 20 billion dollars (about Rs 1.6 lakh crore) on this project. The main objective of this move is to re-establish America’s leadership in space and curb China’s growing space ambitions.
the surface will be captured
NASA has made an important change in its old action plan. Earlier plans had considered building a station in the lunar orbit, but now on the instructions of the Trump administration, it has been decided to establish a base directly on the lunar surface. To prepare this military and scientific base, robotic landers and state-of-the-art drones will be deployed on a large scale. NASA believes that having a base on the surface will not only facilitate scientific experiments but will also be important from a strategic point of view.
‘Space War’with China sound of
This decision of America is being seen as a response to the announcement made by China last year in which Beijing had set a target of landing its astronauts on the moon by 2030. Zhang Jingbo, spokesperson for China’s human space program, has clarified that their preparations are in the final stages.
In response, NASA chief Jared Isaacman said that America would once again be in the same ‘Apollo era’. Will work with the same spirit that made the impossible possible in the 1960s. The Trump administration aims to ensure the US presence on the Moon as a permanent military base by the end of its term.
Elon Musk’s big role
Private sector giants have also been included in this $20 billion mission. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos are working to develop a lunar lander for this mission. However, experts believe that the target of manned landing by 2028 may be a bit challenging but considering the pace of technological development, it is not considered impossible. Additionally, NASA is also working on a plan to send nuclear-powered spacecraft to Mars in the future.

In its last term itself, the Trump administration had created the ‘Space Force’ It was the first new US military branch in seven decades. Now this base being built on the moon is being considered as a decisive step in this direction which will make space a new front in terms of future wars and security.
