Dhurandhar actor reveals film wasn’t initially planned to be in two parts
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is setting new records at the box office every day. The film has benefitted from the success of the first part and thus only took a week to cross Rs 1,000 crore at the global box office. Now, in a surprising revelation, actor Danish Pandor, who plays Rehman Dakait’s ruthless but gullible brother Uzair Baloch in the film, has said that director Aditya Dhar initially hadn’t planned a sequel for the film.
In an interview with News18Danish said, “There was no initial discussion to make a two-part film. When we were shooting for it and the makers came across the footage, they felt it was really amazing. The script was so gripping that they couldn’t chop it off. That’s when they decided to release the film in two instalments. That’s how the plan got executed.”
