China’s secret move amid Iran war, America’s big revelation, deadly semiconductor chips are being sent to Tehran.

News India Live, Digital Desk: The ongoing ‘cold war’ between Washington and Beijing has now reached a dangerous turn. The US has made sensational claims that China’s largest chip maker, SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation), is secretly supplying semiconductor chips and the tools to make them to Iran’s military amid the war. According to senior US administration officials, this cooperation is not limited to just sending goods, but China is also giving technical training to Iran for military use of this technology. After this revelation, there has been a stir in the White House and the threat of new tough sanctions has been imposed on China. Is Dragon increasing Iran’s military strength? America surrounded: Quoting American intelligence reports, it has come to light that SMIC has been sending modern chips to Iran’s ‘Military Industrial Complex’ for the last one year. These chips can be used in deadly missiles, radar systems and military communication systems. America believes that China is deliberately giving such technology to Iran so that it can prove more lethal on the battlefield. Washington has described it as a major threat to global security and said that this step of China could be a flagrant violation of international sanctions. What is ‘Axis of Evasion’? China is defying the sanctions. Experts have termed this meeting between China and Iran as ‘Axis of Evasion’. China itself is facing American sanctions, so it is trying to create a parallel supply chain with Iran. US officials have clarified that if even a little bit of ‘Made in USA’ technology is found in these machines or tools, then strict punitive action will be taken against China. On the other hand, China has completely rejected these allegations and called it ‘normal business’, but the evidence available with America is telling a different story. What will be its impact on India and the world? Supply of semiconductor technology by China to Iran can not only upset the balance of West Asia, but can also cause huge turmoil in the global tech market. If the US imposes more stringent sanctions on Chinese chip companies, there could be a severe shortage of chips in the smartphone, automobile and AI industries. This is also a matter of concern for India, because instability in the Middle East and disruption in supply chains will have a direct impact on oil prices and the availability of electronics goods.
