There was sudden change in weather in many parts of UAE – Abu Dhabi, Sharjahan etc. Amidst the rain and storm there was also lightning. In the videos and pictures going viral on social media, lightning can be seen falling on the top of Burj Khalifa. This video went viral on social media within no time. Many users have shared it.

However, it is a matter of relief that no person was injured nor did anyone suffer any loss due to lightning. The video has been made from a long distance, in which it can be seen that the sky is dark and lightning is falling on Burj Khalifa. Whoever saw this scene was shocked.

Let us tell you that earlier this month, in the video shared online, explosions and smoke rising near Burj Khalifa were seen. Iran had fired missiles and drones at many places targeting Dubai. Many times even airports had to be closed. Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. Many concrete steps have been taken to keep it safe. To prevent any damage due to lightning falling on it, a lightning rod has been installed at the top of the tower. In such a situation, whenever there is a storm in the surrounding areas of Dubai, this rod attracts the lightning towards itself, due to which the lightning does not fall anywhere else and cause harm.
