PM Modi will inaugurate Noida International Airport tomorrow, traffic advisory issued

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Noida International Airport on 28 March 2026. Keeping in view the possibility of huge crowd in this big event, Noida Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory. The objective of the administration is to ensure security as well as maintain the smooth functioning of the traffic system. Under this, traffic changes will be in effect on many important roads from morning till late night.

What advice was given to the people?

People have been advised to check the route before leaving home and plan their journey accordingly. Diversion will be in force on many major routes from 7 am to 11 pm on the inauguration day. Especially there will be a complete ban on the entry of goods vehicles on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway. However, ambulance, fire brigade and other emergency services are exempted from this ban. The police has appealed to the common citizens to avoid going on these routes unnecessarily.

Different routes have been fixed for people coming from different cities so that traffic pressure does not fall at one place. Vehicles coming from Meerut and Ghaziabad will be given entry through Eastern Peripheral Expressway. At the same time, passengers coming from Mathura and Aligarh will have to follow the prescribed route after Jewar toll. Separate entry routes have also been fixed for those coming from Hapur, Bulandshahr and Khurja. Apart from this, separate parking spaces have been arranged for everyone so that the crowd can be controlled.

Special parking and shuttle service available

Special parking and shuttle service will be provided for VIP guests attending the event. Separate parking zones have also been created for media personnel, police force and administrative officials. With this, crowd management around the venue can be done in a better way and traffic will not be disrupted.

Special guidelines have also been issued for local residents and commercial vehicles. People coming from Noida, Greater Noida and surrounding areas will have to follow the prescribed routes. At the same time, goods vehicles going towards Jewar will already be diverted to other routes. Vehicles coming from Agra direction will also be diverted before Jewar toll, so that no traffic problem arises during the inauguration program.
