Now order food just by speaking without opening the app, Swiggy’s new AI feature will create a stir

AI Food Delivery India: The way of ordering food online is changing rapidly in India. Now you will not need to open the app and type. Just speak and your food, grocery or table booking will be done in minutes. In fact, swiggy Swadeshi AI Startup Sarvam AI has launched a voice-based commerce feature, which can completely change the experience of users.

Now tell me and the order will be ready

Under this new system, all three services of Swiggy – Food Delivery, Instamart and Dineout can be used through voice on a single platform. Suppose you say, ‘I want one paneer matar ki sabzi and two tawa rotis’, then AI will understand your words and place the order itself. This will not only save time, but the use of technology will also become very easy.

Will work in many languages including Hindi

The most important thing about this feature is that it is not limited to English only. Sarvam AI’s model supports more than 10 Indian languages including Hindi. Its direct benefit will be to small towns and those people who are not comfortable in English. Now everyone will be able to order online easily in their own language.

AI assistant will handle the entire process

Sarvam’s AI assistant “Indus” is behind this technology. Works. By understanding the user’s voice, it handles the entire process from search to order and payment. Razorpay’s payment system has also been added to it, through which users can make payments only by speaking. That means the entire experience will be end-to-end automated.

Order will be made even without app and internet

A demo of this feature was also shown at AI Impact Summit, where users were able to order even without app and internet. Swiggy has been integrated on Sarvam AI’s chat platform Indus, allowing food or goods to be ordered during the conversation. According to some reports, it may also be possible to order through just a phone call.

Why is it a game changer for common people?

There are still crores of people in India who are not able to use apps easily, especially because of language. In such a situation, this voice-based system can prove to be very beneficial for them. Just like cab drivers and small shopkeepers use Google voice search, now ordering food will also become easier.

What will change next?

If this technology is successful, then in future the need for screens may reduce and conversation will become the new interface.
